Fee, payment method, retest, and late-cancel amounts appear after you pick a specific checkride. Retest, including continuation after a Letter of Discontinuance, is half the checkride fee, the same as late cancellation. Administrative actions (GIE, FIRE, BAE): depending on the administrative action to be performed, the fee ranges from $200 to $500. The exact amount is set before a date is scheduled. All fees are confirmed in writing before the application is accepted.

Serving the entire State of Hawaii, with FAA checkrides available on Oahu, Maui, the Big Island (Hawaii Island), Kauai, Molokai and Lanai. Practical tests offered: private pilot, instrument rating, and commercial pilot (airplane single- and multiengine land), CFII add-on, CFI recent experience and reinstatement, and Special Medical Flight Tests when authorized. Checkrides on Guam and the U.S. mainland are available on request, subject to FAA preapproval, authorization, aircraft, weather and other duties.
How scheduling works
Request
Send the form or call. A request is not a hold. Requests need at least 2 business days. Any change to date, time, airport, test or aircraft must be confirmed in writing by the examiner before the test.
Written accept
The date is held only after you receive a written accept. Accepted dates may change in rare cases due to the examiner's other professional commitments. You will be notified as soon as possible and offered a new date.
